Whose painful stories fill my heart with grief.
I now am offering the tears of holy women
To Thee, O God, to grant them all relief.
Holy women sighing,
Holy women crying,
Holy women seeking you.
I have been listening to hearts of holy women
Whose wounds are more than one alone should bear.
I now am offering the hearts of holy women
To Thee, O God, to heal their deep despair.
Holy women yearning,
Holy women learning,
Holy women trusting you.
I have been witnessing the faith of holy women
Who know the path to peace begins with you.
I now am offering the faith of holy women
To Thee, O God, whose love makes all things new.
Holy women giving,
Holy women living,
Holy women loving you.
Holy women growing,
Holy women knowing,
Holy women finding you.
