When I think of You, My Heart.

When I think of you, my heart is filled with warmth.
This comes from knowing that you are there for me.

When I think of you, my heart is a little scared.
This comes from knowing that I almost lost you.

When I think of you, my heart swells with pride.
This comes from knowing that you chose to love me.

When I think of you, my heart cries.
This comes from knowing the hurt I have caused you.

When I think of you, my heart opens wide.
This comes from knowing you will never break it.

When I think of you, my heart smiles with joy.
This come from knowing that each day I get to have you in my life.

When I think of you, my heart races.
This comes from knowing that we both still desire each other.

When I think of you, my heart gives thanks.
This comes from knowing that you are my gift from God.

When I think of you, my heart does all these things and more.

This comes from knowing that I Love You with ALL MY HEART, MIND, BODY & SOUL!

When I think of YOU, MY HEART!




I wrote this poem to my husband for Christmas 2000. It describes the love and support I received from him.
