Seduction & Betrayal
by InoT

He’ll deceive you, you won’t even see.
He’ll tell you anything you want to hear.
You just want some stability,
to no longer fear.
He takes you in, this powerful man.
He gives you tablets of security.
You take them, not knowing the plan.
He thinks you are his for eternity.
You just want someone to look after you.
He justs wants to get his hands on you.
He whispers “I’ll take care of you, hun,
you’ll need no other one.”
“If you’re feeling down and out,
I’ve got something to fix you no doubt.”
All you want is some piece of mind,
so you follow as if you are deaf, dumb and blind.
He misuses his claim as physician
to help him complete his mission.
You were confused when overcome,
left feeling betrayed, shamed and numb.
Now life aint very pretty,
right and wrong mean nothing and that’s a pity.
It’s sad, but who is going to tell?
So you go on through this living Hell.
This isn’t what you bargained for,
you don’t want to live like this anymore.
Oh, these things you try and try to forget.
It shouldn’t have happened and now regret.
But you remember, Oh Lord, how you remember.
At times it seems like a timeless blur,
that it didn’t really occur.
Undeniably the memory is here to stay,
try if you will, but you can’t make it go away.
He is waiting, all you have to do is call.
He’ll be there, hurtful memories and all.
