Slowly he walks.... With legs like cold steel. As green
slimy sweat runs down his sharp scaly frame... powerful arms with claws dripped in blood
... his sinister face with eyes yellowish red, reflecting the glow of the pit of hell...
dagger like teeth, spewing out bones from his latest of victims... His tentacles long and
dragging beside. Slowly he walks with legs cold like steel...
Where have you been you hideous creature? Where do you go on this storm
filled night?
The powerful shepherds so righteous and proud, fell asleep while
watching His sheep. Who convinced you to lay down your swords? While they slept the
creature stood ready... knowing his prey would not awake from his venom. He covered their
eyes with his own slimy scales... polluting their minds with his long evil tentacles.
Why do you sleep most powerful ones? You who where to represent Him...
You should be fasting, praying and waiting for Him to show you the Way. Now your eyes are
blind and your ears do not hear... like the Pharisees He knew when He walked the earth.
Come to us you lost of His flock... submit to us and will show you the
way... come to us and spare not your whole life... give us your life so we can expand the
way... spare not your moneys or wealth... give it to us is what He has said.
Their cries of despair and pain and fright... the shepherds, they hear
the cries in the mist of the night... come to us and we'll show you the way... So all the
vulnerable, weak and afraid.. they come to the shepherds, they come to the shepherds to
hide from the storm... show us the way from the evil out here... teach us His ways and
deliver our pain.
The creature stand lurking... grinning his most fiendish of grins...
come to us they sit there and call... far from the message of our dear wandering Paul.
Tell us your sins one and all... you liars, adulterers and thieves you come too... bring
your friends, your families and everyone you can call.
Off in the distance comes the weakest of cries... "I'm so weak and
tired I can't find my way... all lost and afraid she sits quite alone. Cries of despair to
her Lord and her God... please help me and show me the way... I'm all alone and I've lost
my way. Where have You gone oh Mighty One? My tears fall like rain and yet no one hears my
distress. Where are the shepherds? Why will they not come? I'm too weak to crawl much less
walk. Help me dear Lord... I can't live one more day. Darkness about and darkness
within... lost is the Light that once shined in her heart.
One day the creature came breathing out vile... he devoured her
children and almost her life. She sits here in fear of the hideous beast. Where is His
love, mercy and strength?
The one shepherd heard her faint cry... just a little bit more... I can
help you this day. I'll show you His love and His miraculous way. Come to me most
vulnerable one. I'll shelter you in His love and help deliver your pain... His
understanding I have.. for He gave it to me... His own words I can share and they'll set
you free.
She sees a far off this glimmer of hope... this one shepherd has heard
her weak cry... just a little bit more... restoration is near. Her heart filled with
hope... she makes her way... to the shepherd, the counselor and teacher of the Way.
He embraces her with compassion and tears of joy. Little one rest as I
teach you of love. Rest awhile and I'll share with you my pain. He bandages her wounds and
wipes the tears from her eyes... she ponders his love, generosity and all. He must be of
God to share all that he has... he must be of God to give his love so freely... for God
has finally answered my cries of despair... he must be of God.
The creature lurks and laughs more than before...
The shepherd shows her his love and his way... he shares with her his
sin and his shame... he defiles her... devours her life... he cast her away in the darkest
of pits. Far from the eyes of the rest of the weak. He hides his shame as he disgraces her
name. She cries once again with her heart ripped in two... Oh my God now what do I do? I
trusted him to be like You. What do I do with all this guilt and shame? Alone and rejected
she bares such great pain. The powerful shepherds sit so pompous and proud. They see the
lost shepherd and call out to him... come to us and we'll restore you again. Poor little
shepherd defiled by her sin... come, we'll help you walk once again...
And the creature laughs his most sinister grin.
